Teaching Interests

In the past I have taught several undergraduate modules for the Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine, as well as postgraduate units.  In 2015-2016, I will be moderator of the undergraduate units A History of Biology in Twenty Objects (Sem 1) and Madness and Society (Semester 2); I will also lecture on several other undergraduate HSTM and BIOL units, including Bodies in History; and Bioethics.  At the postgrad level, I'll be teaching on Major Themes in Medical Humanities; HSTM Skills; Medicine, Science and Modernity; and Making Modern Technology.

I am also co-director, with Dr Sarah Collins of the Manchester Medical School, of CHSTM's MSc programme in Medical Humanities, and a Phase 1 (Semester 4) PBL Tutor.
