Teaching Interests

I teach on the 3rd level course Key Issues in Contemporary Medicine: What can history teach us? and on the MSc courses Medicine, Science and Modernity and Medical History & Humanities. I am supervisor of Julian Simpson's PhD on Doctors from the Indian subcontinent and the development of general practice in the UK c.1948-c.1978, http://www.migranthealthworkers.org.uk/research.html and am interested in supervising projects focused on the recent and contemporary history of healthcare.
